amythest was standing outside in her pajamas (which translated to a hoodie and a pair of boyshorts and socks with slides), shivering and looking at her apartment building, the fire alarm blaring. everyone had evacuated and was standing in a large group across the street, a firetruck pulling up. smoke was coming from one of the windows on the third floor, three rooms down from her own. she looked around for a moment, her face slightly distraught, majorly irritated. “ i swear i know who’s fault it is... she’s always leaving her flat iron on... ” she complained to no one in particular, looking over at her neighbors every now and again.
