40 Years of Saaransh (25/05/1984). It is directed by Mahesh Bhatt (also responsible for screenplay and dialogue), with screenplay and dialogue by Sujit Sen, and dialogue by Amit Khanna. Produced by Tarachand Barjatya, the film stars #AnupamKher, Rohini Hattangadi, Madan Jain, Nilu Phule, Suhas Bhalekar, and Soni Razdan. It is about an elderly Maharashtrian couple living in Mumbai who come to terms with the loss of their only son. The film had music by Ajit Verman and lyrics by Vasant Dev. Cinematography by Adeep Tandon and edited by David Dhawan.
