Can anyone explain the whole playlist gate thing? I've been on holiday so i haven't been keeping up, only scrolling here from time to time and i keep seeing spotify playlist, louise etc brought up but cant make sense of it all - thanks x

A long time ago (maybe even 2017 - I’m looking around but can’t confirm) Louise shared a screenshot of a Spotify playlist for a user called “sabretoothedturner”. It included a number of songs that Alex had listed as inspiration for TBHC as well as a playlist called “Del Schwartz” and it’s been an ongoing fandom debate if it’s Alex’s account or Louise’s. Regardless, it’s been cited as part of the evidence that Alex was cheating with Louise for awhile because otherwise how would she have had access to his playlists/account before he had broken up with Taylor?

That’s the background. Then the Studio Brussel interviewer asked him about the playlist — you can go watch the interview, it’s on YouTube — and he gets VERY visibly uncomfortable.
