have you ever met anyone from Tumblr in real life?

No, not yet. But I'm pretty sure I will, because there are some awesome ladies who live in my town. One even goes to the same college as me!I keep hoping to run into Carly at the PX or Commissary, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm not sure if I want to meet her, though.. I think she's fixing to PCS. I don't want to get attached to her and then cry rivers of tears when she leaves, because I know I would, since she's awesome.Also, I'm a horribly shy and socially awkward ex-homeschooler, so whoever meets me needs to be prepared for that.

No worries. You should date whoever you want! People who say things like that either have a holier than thou attitude, because they think their reasons for marrying a military guy are more pure and noble than anyone elses, or they have a guilty conscience. And anybody who marries a military guy for his money is a moron, because we all knwo they don't make much. I wonder where that misconception comes from.
