Do you know of any active Norman blogs? I'm also thinking of making a blog in the bm fandom !!

    I do indeed know of two active Norman blogs who I interact with! They are @sadlytouching​ and @myownprivatetrap​ and I can honestly say that both of them are absolutely superb writers and they understand Norman very well. They are also both complete sweethearts who I want to wrap in blankets and give them cookies and keep them safe from anything that could hurt them because they deserve to be happy. 

I highly suggest you follow both of them because you will not regret it. They give you your perfect dosage of the adorkable weirdo that is Norman Bates. They both make Emma very happy and the muns make me happy as well! 

If anyone has more questions pertaining to roleplay or the Bates fandom in general, feel free to hit up my inbox! I am happy to answer questions!

  everything was quiet , a whir of terror that was parried by the blinding flash of a blade in the fluorescent lighting of a nearly vacant motel’s bathroom was now gone. or what she had assumed was such. maybe she’d just imagined it. her eyes were closed, but she was becoming aware of the surroundings ever so slowly. or just from what she could hear and feel, what she could smell. what marion assumed was a bedspread against the pads of her fingertips and pale expanses of skin felt warm, felt comforting and relaxing. however, the air smelled rather dry, an aroma only slightly familiar to the one she’d previously been acquainted with, the one of the neat and tidy motel room she’d borrowed for the night. ( perhaps she had imagined that too. )  it did, however, present her with a new question, one of which could only be answered by opening her eyes.             so she did .

  eyelids flutter, blue gaze flickering, refocusing on the surroundings. slowly, everything comes to, her eyes clear and she becomes acquainted with an unfamiliar ceiling. eyebrows furrow, and her head turns, coming to terms with something that she hadn’t expected previously. jolting in surprise, eyes lay upon a tall figure she’d met previously, the realization crashing upon her that not everything she knew was what she had imagined. she suddenly becomes hyper-aware, the realization that her clothes had been draped over her suitcase dawned on her and fingers reach, grasping for the covers. they’re pulled tight to her, eyes widening and lips parting as she struggles to speak. 

there’s unasked questions, they hang heavy on her tongue, but she can’t force them out. only this;

character in general: oh man i love norman okay bye? psycho is one of my fav horror movies!! && EVEH THOUGH i haven’t read the book ( or books idk how many there are lol ) && im also super behind on bates motel *finger guns* i still love him k? but idk man norman is such an interesting character ( && im super happy this blog came into my life bc i hadn’t seen a norman in 7 years ) plus norman is one of my fav names okay byehow they play them: THE BEST WAY I CAN EXPLAIN PLZ WATCH LINKthe mun: well first off a very good writer, SECOND!!! while we haven’t really interacted nor do we talk ooc lmao they seem v nice && i am literally so shy about them okay!!!! okay!!!

my opinion on;

character in general:  i’m such norman bates trash like my son. i may or may not have a psycho 4 poster hanging from my ceiling . . . and i use to rp as him a long time ago but i was getting a bit of hate since i didn’t like bates motel soooo. . . .how they play them:  pretty well as far as using aspects from all the movies and the original book (we don’t talk about the other books) not gonna judge the bates motel stuff bc that wouldn’t be fair since i’m not a fan of that version of norman. the mun: haven’t talked at all, but i’d like to.

follow them: yesssssrp with them: not yet !!want to rp with them: sure !! i’d love to see mother/norman try to kill eric and then him just getting pissed off like ‘ow that wasn’t nice’ship their character with mine: nope. HONESTY i don’t ship eric with anyone besides shelly

overall opinion:  i don’t have much experience with the mun, but the writing is well done and the norman is +a. any horror fan should be following this norman :)
