Sad Passing(cat named Toby)
So we had lost another cat today over at TAAG shelter. His name was Toby and he has a brother named Joey. Toby hadn't been feeling well for the past couple of days and we couldn't quite figure out what it was--he had seemed almost lethargic, he didn't eat any of the dry cat food nor the wet cat food. He didn't even drink any water either. We also noticed that he had lost some weight though(not too much, cause he was still at a good weight). He was also pretty plump too, whenever one of us tried to pick him up. He would almost growl and he would get mad. Anyways, he was taken over to the vet yesterday to go checked out and then it wasn't until earlier today that we were told what was happening with Toby and what the reason was: his kidneys and liver were failing and I guess there wasn't much that the vets could do to save him. I think that he was in just so much pain that they probably figured that it wouldn't be worth having to put him through so much pain just trying to save him. I'm really going to miss you Toby, you were loved by all over at the TAAG shelter, despite what you and your brother have been through. You can now rest easy now that you're pain free and can now roam free in the skies above. R.I.P. big guy, you will be missed. <3
