Wow this is amazing I found a stream of in the rotunda place in the building and I'm watching Sen. Davis speak and it's kind of amazing.

I am so confused about what is really happening with the whole filibuster thing right now - I've seen a lot of different things about it, and although I have a live cast open right now, I still can't tell what's going on. The only thing I can tell for sure is there there are a lot of people there and that means this is a very important time - not only for the body policing issue, but clearly for other things as well, including the questionable (at best) actions of the Texas Senate today. In the stream, I see both men and women, all there to support Sen. Wendy Davis and to protest the vote that may or may not count, but appeared to have been taken after midnight.

Even though there are so many people there, it may not be the majority. However, they are the ones who are speaking up, and I hope they are listened to soon. Fingers crossed on the whole situation, and my thoughts are going out to all of the people there, and all the people at home supporting Sen. Davis and all of the other amazing House and Senate members who helped her and helped slow the bill.

These are my last remarks on the subject. I may reblog more things, but I'm not sure that I'll reblog much more on this subject until something definite is decided, I will not put any more personal opinions up.

Just got home from the meet!

It was nice and relaxed and fun. There was a Kurloz that brought bubbles! That was fun. And someone said they liked my spring dress Rose so that made me happy. Wish I could've stayed longer!

Cassie, you were a wonderful rat and I only wish I could have at least seen you to your second birthday. I didn't want you to go yet, but I guess you had to and I hope whoever guided you out of this world guided you kindly and truthfully, because you deserved nothing less. Remember that time when you got out and spent a night outside of your cage? That was exciting, wasn't it? Maybe wherever you are, you can play with Glow and Poppy and Rain and all the other rats, free from a cage. And wherever you are, at least you aren't suffering any longer. I hope Lyra was a comfort to have near when you died, and I hope you died peacefully. Ill take good care of Lyra, I promise, and I promise I'll try not to be too sad. I loved you Cassie, and I always will love you.

Aaaaaah so more or less the first thing I do on my new phone (my parents got me a galaxy s3 for graduation and I just got it) is download tumblr and make this text post. Tumblr shouldn't be this important to me
