I have a couple requests I’m playing around with, but my top priorities are the next chapters of CV and TLOS because it has been wayyy too long since I’ve updated and I miss my own stories 😭

Because you asked so nicely (and I am very easily persuaded) here’s a bit of a scene from chapter eleven of the Light of Stars:

You startled awake with a sharp inhale. You couldn’t be sure if that dream was real. A remnant of your vision. And offering from the Force. Or just your imagination playing tricks on you. Eyes searching the pitch-black room for some sort of sign as to where you were. You couldn’t see anything, but you felt an arm around your waist, holding you securely.

Mando’s arm. 

You were still on the Razor Crest, tucked away in your shared bunk, and he was dozing behind you. Or so you thought.

You felt him shift behind you, lifting his head from his pillow to look down at you in the dark.

“Are you okay?” His voice was hoarse and laced with sleep.

“Yeah,” you assured him. “Just a strange dream.”

“Another nightmare?”

“No. Not quite. Just...” You screwed your eyes shut and tried to banish the lingering images, or rather sensations, of that other man from your mind. Mando’s hold on you tightened, drawing you back into the present. “Just strange.”    

As if I haven’t inflicted enough pain on Din & Jetii 😬
