Do you think that Adrian is in love with Sydney?
Yes, I think he is. I'm not sure if he realizes it himself yet but from what we see throughout TGL, he is definitely in love with Sydney (and from what Sydney says in the first chapter of TIS). I think the reader can see it more clearly than either Adrian or Sydney. Adrian is holding his feelings back when he's with Sydney but we can see them trickle out through Jill because of the bond: how many times has she looked at Sydney in a infatuated way and complimented her? It was because Adrian was thinking about Sydney at that time (which was A LOT). It's the little things Adrian did or said that convinces me that he's in love with her (like standing up for her, believing in her, protecting her, or even buying pomegranate gelato for her and remembering a conversation about heterae). And of course there is his whole speech at the end of TGL which shows how deep his feelings for her are. He hasn't said it out loud but I think actions speak louder than words. We can see that he loves her rather than Richelle just telling us so. Just because something isn't said out loud doesn't mean it's not there (does that make sense?).
