Chloe stans are so insufferable about their hate for Safi that it feels racist. Mind you Safi literally isn't as bad as people are making her out to be.

the hate for Safi just seems so racist, like u said, and so forced 😭😭😭 she is not the evil bitch people are making her out to be and it pisses me off that THATS what people got from that game.
to further explain, i wanna compare her to Catra from Shera because theyre very similar.m personality wise. obviously their traumas are different BUT the treatment they get from their respective fandoms are the same. I think what people just dont get about either of them is that its their trauma that makes them act the way they do.
speaking as someone who has been and is going through similar emotional/mental abuse that catra went through throughout the show with shadow weaver and horde prime although not as intense as it was shown, it makes sense why she acts that way specifically to adora. same with safi! she has to not JUST deal with the fact her then best friend had died, but the fact that the people she cared about and trusted tried to cover up the real reason she died. THATS why she lashed out. to add on, her mother kept her father away from her for YEARS. and made safi think HE didnt wanna see HER. mind you, she wouldve been a child / teenager and so for her to go through her life believing her dad just left her and didnt wanna see her is VERY fucked up. and them, finding out her own mother was the one pulling the strings is WORSE.
the point is that she had multiple reasons to be angry at her mother, to want to run away, to feel like she and max are 'gods' etc etc. she was betrayed by everyone in her life, except max (if you accept her offer ofc), which is why she trusts her and the fact shes superpowered LIKE safi is definitely a big factor, especially considering she'd kept her powers to herself for years.
another thing id like to add is her asking max to kill her. this scene is definitely why i don't understand how people hate her because she has went through SO. MUCH. and its obvious in that scene. she felt that she hurt so many people and that it would be better if she was dead. its not that hard to comprehend why she feels the way she does in that scene, and i hate it when people make her out to be the biggest bitch in the world when in reality, shes just someone who has been stabbed in the back multiple times and lost her best friend to suicide.
if chloe did all these things, shed be getting praise.
