Spark wobbles up to the old geezer (at least, that's what HE called him) while carrying a rather large cane which is decorated in the style of a candy cane. The top of it can be popped off to reveal that there's a bunch of hershey kisses inside. As a bonus... it could literally be used as a cane! "Hey!" The Pichu states, setting the cane down before him. "I'dunno what old people like, so... take this I guess." Was he forced by Isabelle to go gift-giving? Most likely.

The man picks up the cane from the little one and inspects it with his eyes. A balance is checked, everything is before he discovered candy inside of the object. The old man chuckles to himself and leans down to pat the head of the one who gave him the present in the first place.
“Worry not, I like this plenty. What the gift is not as important as the intent behind the gift. So, thank you, I will make sure to put it for good use.” He will most likely give away the majority of the sweets from the gift. He was not a fan of eating too much.
He's much taller than many over people she knew. With a hum, she carefully gestures him to bend down for a moment before she takes her chance. Stepping up, she presses her lips against his cheek. A simple gesture, really. Hopefully he wouldn't mind it so much.

Well. That was a surprise. The man did not expect to receive such a sudden gesture of affection just like that. Even in his long life he never really got used to affection from people, especially since he is a type to stay away from most interactions usually. He was not called a cage without a reason. Aside from his qualities that would make him who he is, of course.
With the surprise clearly visible of the older looking man, he hummed in thought, what shall he say in return for something like that? “I suppose I can offer you my thanks…but what prompted something like this?”
this christmas, fujin presents him with a /lovely/ christmas sweater, one matching her own. she hopes it will be a subtle encouragement for him to wear more clothing around her presence, lest her need to absorb his wisdom be stopped by the... view. merry christmas, aurelius!

The man chuckles with the same kindness as he usually does. The dark-red hand goes to pat the female’s head while the man himself smiles, which is partially hidden by the moustache and the beard that cover the majority of the lower part of his face in general. The man does not hesitate to take the gift and he inspects said gift with the same smile.

And the man is laughing. Of course, he gets a few people who point out the unusual healthiness of his own body. Oh, if only this boy realized just how old Aurelius was. A more appropriate look for his age would be non-existence by this point. Not even ash, nothing should remain of his, would be a normal human.
The laugh stops eventually. But it was not the mocking kind of laugh, but rather a kind one. Something to show his amusement by the situation. “Well, what can I say? Even an old person such as myself can still pack a punch.” That’s a weak excuse for an old man with a body of a professional athlete.
