the one thing that’s actually difficult about the traditional medium is finding the right marker for a color you want to replicate from a reference image…

Eero sunburns easily (despite being based off a desert cactus haha), while Antonio has darker skin, doesn't get sunburnt often(here he jokingly forgets what a sunburn is), and doesn't like the oily feel of sunscreen on his skin so he doesn't use it (still not a good idea, I know). Rosehip is literally a beach rose bush, she's fine in sun and salt water. still keeps tethered to the dry land with her vines though.

Eero just wants to find a person to un-curse him and tracks down another plant person for help. Rosehip just wants to live in the woods (and mess with wanderers) and isn’t interested in tracking down any witches.
they turn out to be a lot more different than they expected. nothing really goes according to plans for Eero.
oh wow working on this made me remember that I Can Draw! even digitally! I’m gonna try to use digital coloring more often. instead of coloring it fully, I decided to only color the lit-up parts because I don’t do enough shading. the light source is supposed to be some open hole in the house’s ceiling, I hope that’s not too ambiguous.
