The Yule celebration near Quarry lake had been a spectacle, certainly, but it hadn't generated enough muse for a full article based on it. Kai figured he would have to find something else to submit a piece on. Maybe tie in all the events together and see if the mayor had anything to add as a message for his city. Presently, however, he was in the mood to roam or perhaps find a drink and some mild entertainment for the remainder of the evening. Which had him wandering through the city looking for something, anything, that stood out. If only he'd remembered to charge the cellular device in his pocket, he could use that to search for something else going on.
"Excuse me, this may be a bit forward of me but I'm looking for somewhere to get a drink and maybe catch some entertainment tonight but this blasted mobile device is out of battery life again." Kai shook the dark screen of his phone and shoved it back in his pocket. "I was hoping maybe you had an idea or could point me in the direction of a place? You're more than welcome to join me, I'm just terribly turned around." He looked at them with kind but confused eyes. He really needed to spend more time memorizing the layout of the city. It wasn’t a tactical thing for him in Astoria, maybe that’s why it had taken him so long. Or maybe it was simply the overwhelming amount of change he’d gone through since he arrived there. Everything was new and part of him hated that.
