-(] Wolf Approaches Raven [)-
The smokey gray haired, would-be, Au Ra who had more scars that most upon his figure and showed it with pride with a mostly bare top that laid in tatters down past his waist to sway like torn flags along his knees with each step upon enter Central Coerthas. A crunch heard beneath every heavy foot-fall upon snow ridden lands. Smaller steps were also heard along his side when a gentle, feminine voice spoke . . .
“Why do we need to strip your brother of whatever it is that lives within him?”
Hara continued walking as the wolf next to him followed, the right side of the wolf was physical, the other left side was ethereal as it’s form appeared on the left side to be traced out of translucent energy of multiple colors; rainbow?
He responded, “She . . . “
Sai’teiri the wolf cut in, “You mean that woman with the ancient weapon?”
He nodded his head, continuing, “I assume she believes that stripping Oro’Dae of Oodama will somehow save him. It’s a double edged sword as Oodama has saved Oro’Dae countless times. It will surely cripple him and somehow save him. Though, a proper time would’ve been later when the time is right as I believe him . . . no, I can feel he is healthier then before so he could still make good use of it.”
The wolf perked her ears and looked up at him, “Can you use Oodama?”
He shook his head, “I cannot.”
The wolf, Sai’teiri blinked and prodded his side with one her ethereal tails, “Why not?”
“Well, let’s put it like this. Oro’Dae is pull or I should better say, his talents lay within absorption due to circumstances with Xur, but his real ability is healing. He is a perfect candidate for a symbiotic creature such as Oodama. I, however, am the opposite. I push or repel energy. It’s . . . “
Sai’teiri cut him off again with a soft murr-esque sound, “Rrrrrsss~’why you build and construct things to house such energy because you never have any!”
Hara could not help but chuckle, “Partially true.” He reached down to a satchel along his hip and fished around it before conjuring up some jerky and tossed it to the half-wolf-thing. It looked like an unfinished Primal with five tails swarming behind it like kraken tentacles.
The wolf spring up to catch it within her maul and quickly swallowed the jerky. Hara rolled his eyes, “No time to enjoy anything, eh? After six years you still rarely chew . . . how uncouth.”
“B-but! I’m always hungry!!”
Hara paused in his step, nearing a spot north of Monument Tower, “I know.” He sounded sympathetic. “It’s why we’re doing this. So you can become whole.”
His eyes narrowed and unlike his brother, his eye-sight was viciously acute, 400 meters away he had found Dae’ seemingly traveling on a mission to aid those within Coerthas. Sai’teiri’s ear perked and she began sniffing around. She could not see nearly that far, that was insane. She began sniffing the air and the ground, it was snowing and physically tracking was a little tough and she did not detect any scent.
“I’ve found him. Are you ready?” Hara pulled that hulking axe from his back that appeared brittle and scorched. It’s edge appearing mauled, dull, and chipping away.
“Yes!” She cocked her head back and let out a loud howl as if to call to other wolves. It was just natural habit for her. A moment more and her bones began to crack and reshape into a five tailed Miqo’ femme. This time, she had two physical legs that were lined with fur as well as half a physical torso, one physical arm with fur down her forearm and claws for digits as well as a head with hair that was sloppily chopped down the side of her face with several braids entwined with random things gathered from their travels. Some twigs, dead material used as beads, some blood dyed hair and many other things! The other half of her hair floated in the air like a banshee as parts of her cheek were missing exposing canines, muscle, and tendons.
Hara held his axe to the side as she latched onto it like the wings of a plane, “Remember. Do not fight this one head on. He will consume you the longer you fight him. We must complete this fast and furiously. Just keep him distracted.” Once she was upon that axe he angled it up near his face to rub the side of her head against her own like two animals greeting each other. This time, it was a silent notion of ‘be safe.’
A passing moment carried Hara’s amethyst gaze to Oro’Dae scaling the mountain . . . Another moment, he pulled that axe back with Sai’teiri attached and he suddenly heaved it in that direction with such velocity that it’s dull edge began to seer through the air causing that axes edge to glow red from friction. At the pinnacle of his swing, Sai’teiri released and was shot off into the air toward Oro’Dae’s direction.
