I know the whole joke with Nendou is that “oh Saiki can’t hear his thoughts because he doesn’t think hehehaha” but like. What if his way of thinking was just incompatible with Saiki’s powers. It’s rare, but some people don’t have an internal monologue running. My dad for example thinks in abstract concepts; hard for him to explain, but from what I can understand when he tries is that his brain is like a filing cabinet, and when he needs to recall a memory he sorts through it until he gets it right, and thinking is more so seeing the thoughts (e.g. he thinks of our dog, he’d see our dog in like, his brain).
What if that was Nendou? What if Saiki couldn’t hear his thoughts because there’s nothing to hear, but in the way you wouldn’t expect?
What if Saiki met someone else with this sort of brain in the future?
