Do something different? Yeah but I've felt like I had created a truly original unique idea. I don't buy into that "no such thing as an original idea" kind of bullshit personally. It's feeling like you've found what you want to put on paper that can be good and captivating, only to find that it had been done before, just as you're getting attached to your story. While some elements are somewhat different from what was done, that eagerness to get down what I have in my head to share to the world just isn't the same as before.
