Saint-Henri was once a working-class neighbourhood with factories. It has now redeveloped into condos, shops and restaurants.

LRCs at St-Henri by Jon R. Roma Via Flickr: LRC-3 unit 6927 slowly pulling Toronto-bound train 67 (Renaissance) westward through the curve at St-Henri. Train 67 was scheduled to depart Central Station at 15:45, and arrive in Ontario's capital city at 20:15. The LRC trains feature lightweight rolling stock with active tilt mechanism to allow traveling comfortably at higher speeds on conventional track. The locomotives were built by Bombardier (successor to the Montréal Locomotive Works (MLW), and used Alco/MLW 16-cylinder 251F prime mover. While the LRC's outward appearance was quite unlike traditional locomotives, the units possessed the familiar chugging sounds of their Alco/MLW brethren. Though the LRC rolling stock has proven successful, and is still in service, the power units suffered some of the same mechanical issues that beset other Alco power. All of them have been retired, and VIA's LRC trains are now pulled by conventional EMD diesels. May 23, 1988
