exactly! plus the Phantom murdered a dude that’s straight up something he did

and phantom is crazy and murderous and toxic to christine not to mention literally hundreds of years old(in leroux's version at least) and idk they have an interesting dynamic and he's a cool character but not good for christine and there's no good reason to hate raoul

he did nothing wrong and he's adorable and caring and is nothing but comforting and compassionate for christine
