Here’s a neat trick a lot of emoji artists use. There’s a filter in Ibis Paint X that makes your palette more cohesive depending on how you adjust it.
Go into the Filters section of your toolbar, and scroll to the Artistic section. From there, press Anime Background. You might want to create a layer from canvas (makes a layer by duplicating and merging your layers) for this.
From there, adjust! Here are some comparisons I’ve made, before and after.
It’s adjacent to a shortcut when you want a more interesting palette. Different original colors will give you different results— play around with the settings!
