I require Yandere Nagumo scenario where the Reader dies 🧐
You promised to stay
Synopsis: You wind up being kidnapped and killed right in front of Nagumo. Not knowing what to do or feel, he simply spirals.
Character used: Nagumo
Cw: Obsessive behaviour; explicit mention of blood and corpses; kidnapping; murder; suicide; power imbalances, drowning; gn!reader.
This wasn't supposed to happen. Things weren't meant to be like this. You were meant to be with him. Forever. Happily ever after. You promised.
So why had you gone missing? Why are you bleeding? Why are you hurt? Why are you still? Why has the light faded from your eyes?
You should be clinging to him— scared out your mind, yet grateful that he came in time to save you from your evil captors! You should be burying your face into his neck and trying to silence your sobs. You should be quietly begging him to just take you home.
So why are you you so quiet?
You should be crying and whining about the foul stench of blood in the air— the horde of corpses on the floor. You should be complaining about how he's getting blood on you and how sickening that is. You should be fretting about how the cold from the corpses are ruining the vibe and making you freeze over too.
So why can he smell the sweet scent of your blood in the air? Why is it mixed with that strong stench from the cretins around you?
Why are you just as cold as everyone else?
Where is your warmth? Your voice? Your fear? Your love? Your hate? Your care? Your malice? You?
Where. Are. You?
He can see you. He can hold you— feel you. But why— why— are you not responding?
He came in time. You were still tied up and scared. Alive. Breathing. He got rid of everyone who wanted to touch you, hurt you, kill you. He was fast— so fast they couldn't even tell what had happened until after he'd dealt the final blow.
You were safe. He made sure of it. Tucked away in a quiet little corner where no living soul could find you, he left you. He left to clear the way and grant you a path that would be free from any obstacle— free from any difficulty. Because that is everything an angel like you deserves.
So how could something slip past him? How was it that he could return to find you— bleeding out on the floor and limp? How could he not have noticed the assailant approach you with a knife? How could he have missed your struggles as you fought them?
That makes no sense!
What did he do wrong? Was he too slow? Too merciful? Too weak? Was your hiding spot too obvious? Was he not cautious enough? Why was he so pathetic that you had to rely on your puny strength to protect yourself?
If he was competent— you wouldn't have to resort to such methods.
It breaks his heart.
The both of you were meant to be together for the rest of eternity. Once death did you part in the first life, you'd reunite in the second. And the the third and until time itself ran out. You promised. You promised on the first night he took you home with him and locked you in the comfort of his home.
He'd promised to take care of you— cherish you. He'd provide for you. With gentle hands, he'd steer you from the direction of danger and back into his ever-loving care. Back into his arms. Like the times he'd come home to find you fully submerged in the bathtub— almost completely still. Or maybe when he'd find you with your face buried in the pillows of your room. Sometimes he'd be required to force feed you when you went without food for too long.
If not patient with you, Nagumo was nothing. He could handle your clumsy, ditsy nature if it meant that he'd get to nurse you back to health every single time. And in his mind, he truly believes that in the time he'd spent doing so— he definitely taught your heart to be willing to reciprocate.
You'd stopped trying to leave. Stopped trying to hurt yourself. In fact, you'd stopped doing much of anything. You slept when he said, bathed when he said, ate when he said and kissed as many times as his heart desired. Sure, the light in your eyes had faded, but that was just how you were when you were in love and he wouldn't want it any other way! And he's sure you wouldn't either.
So it's only natural you'd spend the final moments of your life— fighting for your love.
Nagumo can almost see your final moments in his mind; the image of you— scared as the mystery villain approaches you, knife in hand and ready to kill. He can visualise the fight that ensues— the violent struggling and squirming, the heavy panting and grunting. He can definitely imagine the way you had been pinned down without any care— a rough hand clasped over your mouth while the other stabs the blade right into your throat. And he can surely imagine your adrenaline-dazed self pulling it straight out and trying to crawl away— much too weak to get far, but still determined to try. That wicked wench would then slip away in the darkness and leave you to die.
Yes, that's exactly what happened. It has to be.
That's why you're nestled so deeply into the shadows. That's why he can't find anyone else around you. That's why your hand is loosely wrapped around the handle of the knife that took your life— drowning in blood. You fought for your love and your life. You fought for him to return it.
And more importantly, you fought for your freedom.
a/n: RAHHHHH NEW WATERMARK/ HEADERRRRR 😝😝😝😝😝
Okay, screaming is over. What's this new obsession with Yan!Nagumo? Why are you all cooking? Why am I hearing you out?
I honestly love writing obsessive characters for some reason. So having a mountain of yandere-themed requests is honestly fun!
But it's been a while since I've written something tragic and I'm more than willing to get back on that grind.😝😝
And a belated happy new year to you all 🤍
