here’s a Priestess redesign and Star (from my Joker palace AU / for my fic) for funzies
the rest of this is not going to make any sense to people who don’t know what i’m talking about lol sorry
honestly never liked my Priestess design. i didn’t really hit a spark of inspiration for him and had to force it, unlike most of the others. and you can probably tell from how bland his was in comparison lol. so here’s a redesign (accurate to first appearance)!

SOJIRO IS A PLAYBOY AND NEVER DRIVES GUYS AROUND. SOJIRO IS STRAIGHT. THAT IS THE POINT HERE, NOT THAT SOJIRO IS HOMOPHOBIC.
Sojiro Sakura is the #1 most accidental AND deliberate Ally ever. Ren could walk up and respond to she/her through autopilot and Sojiro would just be like "hey, if you ever want me to not use he/him when I talk about you" the next day. This man would accidentally get tricked by Futaba into being queer-coded for a TikTok and then just have a second tiktok of him decked out in locally sourced pride merch he bought with his own money to support his kids.

I know almost nothing about the Japanese legal system (other than that it assumes guilt and has a horrifying conviction rate), so it’s possible they had no or very little choice, but this potentially implies very concerning things about Ren’s relationship with his parents.
It also makes Sojiro’s constant threats to throw him out if he misbehaves or causes problems much worse because like. That’s already happened.
