Sakyo: …He got into a fight with the director?
Izumi: Yeah. I haven’t gotten all the details yet, but apparently they got into some sort of argument during rehearsals…
Manager: That’s really strange; Usui-kun really isn’t the type to get so worked up like that.
Sakyo: I’m guessing the other director must’ve done something to strike a nerve.
Izumi: I first went to the rehearsal studio to hear the other director’s side of the story directly, but it seems that he’s a bit of a difficult person and this kind of thing happens often…
Izumi: The organizers apologized for not being able to come to Masumi-kun’s defense, and they said they’d talk to the director about it.
Izumi: It doesn’t seem like it’ll be any sort of larger incident.
Manager: That’s good. Considering we are in the middle of the finals and all.
Sakyo: How’s Usui doing?
Izumi: I talked to him just a bit ago, and it seems like he’s okay for the time being.
Sakyo: I see… In that case, I think we should just continue to wait and see for now.
Sakyo: There aren’t many rehearsals left before his guest performance, right? In a way, it’s a bit of a relief that this is happening only a few days before the actual show.
Sakyo: I’m sure the organizers also want to see the finale go off without a hitch.
Izumi: Yeah…
Manager: It sure is a good thing that it didn’t end up turning into a physical fight or anything~! If it were Furuichi-san, it definitely would’ve turned into an ambulance incident!
Sakyo: Quit sayin’ shit that’d give people the wrong idea.
Izumi: …

Masumi: I’m really sorry for causing problems.
Izumi: Really, don’t worry about it at all. Yoshizawa-san and the other organizers were actually pretty worried about you, Masumi-kun.
Izumi: Yoshizawa-san and the others talked to the director, and he’d like the rehearsals and performance to proceed as planned.
Izumi: What do you want to do? If you feel uncomfortable, you don’t need to force yourself to be part of the performance, Masumi-kun.
Izumi: Of course, I understand if there’s part of you that feels like you’ve already given them your word, so you can’t back out now, or that you might be causing issues for the others involved by dropping out, but—.
Izumi: If you continue pushing yourself to keep going, it could end up leading to an even bigger fight, which could end up affecting the actual performance.
Izumi: I think it’s okay for you to prioritize your own feelings in this situation.
Masumi: …I’ll see it through.
Izumi: Will you be okay?
Masumi: Yeah. I just really hate that I ended up causing problems for you.
Izumi: You didn’t cause me any problems at all. Both I and everyone else in the troupe are rooting for you to overcome your challenge, Masumi-kun.
Masumi: …I’ll do my best.

Izumi: (Will this really be okay…?)

Masumi: “That’s a lie! There isn’t a shred of truth in anything he’s saying!”
Masumi: “Why don’t any of you get that!?”

Director: Look, why do you even act, anyway? Do you really think you can just do whatever you want?
Director: The stage isn’t just for you, you know.
Director: I thought I was recruiting an actor who was fit to be in the finals, but I guess I was wrong.
Director: Keep this up and MANKAI Company’s going to be taken down in the first round.
Director: That entire theater company and its director must be out of their damn minds to cast an actor like you as the lead.
Masumi: This had nothing to do with them! You don’t know a damn thing about any of them!
Director: Just take a moment and actually think about it. Aren’t they the ones who shaped that performance you just gave?
Masumi: —I’m just one small part, so quit making judgments about the rest of them just because of me!

Masumi: (Just thinking about it still pisses me off… I honestly just wanted to hit him.)
Masumi: (But I can’t cause any more problems. If I end up causing more issues for her or the rest of the troupe, there will be no point in me even starring in the guest performance.)
Masumi: (I’m absolutely going to pull this off to be sure that our first match in the Fleur Cup finals is a success.)
