Mrs. Renfro's Black Bean Salsa: This is the first black bean salsa I'm reviewing. Sadly, Mrs. Renfro really let me down. I think she was relying a little too heavily on the black beans to create the flavor and forgot to make a salsa around the beans. I was left feeling dissatisfied after each bite, not the hearty-tasty-fullness I would expect from a black bean salsa. Purchased at Price Chopper in Granville, NY for $4.29.

Tostitos Cantina Chipotle Restaurant Style Salsa: Tostitos is overcompensating for a lack of flavor with a few extra names on this one. Very watery taste and consistency. The medium spiciness was accurate but left me feeling hollow and dissatisfied. Even though it was on sale, I would not consider this a bargain. Purchased at Price Chopper in Granville, NY for $3 flat.
