i want to say: incest and child sexual abuse go basically hand in hand, in many complicated and twisty ways

pedophilia and sexual predation can also manifest in many many ways, such as: waiting for a child to be old enough to be considered an adult in the eyes of the law. this is why stuff like, say, aged up fanfiction is bad. it normalizes and glorifies this method of sexual predation.

for some comparisons in real life: back when the literal pedophile ring on tumblr was busted, one of the men there was loudly fantasizing about what he would do when his step-daughters were old enough.

for a more mainstream example: the literal countdowns about mary kate and ashley’s 18th birthdays.

in the end, it’s all about seeing minors in a sexual light, but waiting for the right time to strike. predators are, unfortunately, not stupid. they know how to work the system (which, coincidentally, has pedophiles in it, too, and some not even attempting to hide)

And my fanfic is properly tagged and rated, and all characters are consenting adults. Anyways. I was going to say that I agreed with you in certain points (like Dana Rune's incest zine, yuck), but that in nitpicking the Arcana as much as you do, it hurts other creators looking to make content that is centered around poc and LGBT friendly. Of course the Arcana has its faults, but that shouldn't negate the good things that it offers as well.
