Himalayan Crystal Salt lamps are beautiful and help clean the air by emitting negative ions. It’s so fascinating, the negative ions attach themselves to dust, pollen, mold, fungus and odors, cleaning the air! This is also beneficial to our respiratory health! It’s also indicated in the packaging that the salt lamp helps minimize the effect of positive ions emitted from electronic devices! Who knew! I find the golden glow of the lamp pleasant and relaxing. This lamp is so beautiful the salt is a bowl, on a wooden base, in the bowl are more crystals that are heart shaped, and the bulb is protected by a metal cage! Simply plug it in! There is a handy off/on switch on the cord. Also included in this pack was a heart shaped Himalayan Crystal Salt candleholder, two massage stones, Himalayan Pink Bath Salt in Lavender and Salt Scrub in Lavender!
