As per the norm for her, Lapis was trying to get some sleep. Unfortunately, today seemed like one of those days where she just... struggled. She couldn’t switch off. Sighing under her breath from her spot on the hammock, Lapis opened her eyes, peering over at her roommate quietly, her brows furrowing.
“...Peridot? Are you busy?”

“Peridot, you’ve been trying to get it to work for hours now. Can’t you just call it quits and ask Steven?” Lapis breathed a small sigh, lying upside down on the plush armchair in the barn upside down. Her legs dangled over the back of the seat, fingers gripping the arm-rests so she didn’t fall. She’d been watching Peridot silently for some time, but there was only so much grumbling and cursing of ‘ruddy clod machines’ she could take.
“I’m sure he could get it working again.”
