Cabella - an elegant name for an elegant girl! Cabella is about 8 years old and joined GALT as a stray from the Humane Society of North Texas. Cabella is obviously a mommy to several litters, but we know nothing else about her prior life. One glance from Cabella's wise eyes melts a human's heart. She is filled with a quiet beauty and grace that makes it seem as though she floats about her foster home like a butterfly. Cabella likes to curl in a ball with her nosed tucked under a leg for naps. She prefers her space from other dogs while she sleeps but probably would do best in a home with canine companions for play. She currently lives in a foster home with another grey who has taught her how to play well with others, run zoomies and just have greyt fun. Cabella doesn't need to be crated but prefers a safe area like a crate for thunderstorms. She knows how to use a dog door and can sometimes be found outside soaking up the afternoon sun. And, she rides well in the car. Cabella's foster mom takes her for evening walks and Cabella keeps a steady pace right at her side. Cabella gets excited when she sees something move in the shrubbery be it a rabbit, a bird or a plastic bag stuck on a twig flapping in the breeze. She needs a tight hold on the leash. Cabella is not small animal or cat tolerant at this time. Cabella loves people and loves to be petted. Intrigued?
