Man, today was memorable as hell. Walked around downtown and saw many things I hadn’t before with an awesome dude, towards the end of the night we ended up at a lake and it was only the two of us. We danced, hugged, kissed, watched the stars, and even laughed. And then out of nowhere I hear the same thing everyone tells me that I’ve learned to become numb to the feeling and reason.

All he could offer was apology after apology after apology. Sorry didn’t nor can it do shit to the damage done. We both felt pretty shitty at the end of the night.

The moment I exited his car I could see red and water inside of his eyes that wanted to escape. “You win some you lose some.” Always getting caught up in the moment and doing silly things. It’ll make a great story someday I’m sure… But until then, I’m thankful. Lesson learned. I won’t beg. I am trying my best.
