I want to take a little poll, this is directed more towards my nursing folks (not sure how many of you are left now), but anyone can opine on the situation.
Say there is a feeding pump alarm going off in a patient’s room. You ask the nurse for that room (who is busy with their other patient) if the feeding is continuous (it is) and if it should just be restarted (yes, please). Would you A) Restart the pump at the rate already programmed into the pump. B) Change the rate to the one on the white board.
There is a wrong answer. 😐
