I do - I haven't gotten to play around a whole lot with them yet, but I do have a few where he hangs on long enough to be scraped up by the marines. They involve a lot of themes around: recovering from debilitating injury, feeling very much like a failure, and having to navigate a now even more complicated relationship between his family/background and his work with the marines and what he feels he owes the kid he was trying to protect.

When I make verses and AUs (unless they're closed) I try to keep them fairly open ended so I can write reactively with them, so I don't set a lot of what he's been up to in stone. I'll probably make more specific ones as I go if the people I interact with want them.

Additionally: This isn't what you asked, but I also have one where Cora doesn't live and instead haunts people as a ghost that I keep around in hopes that I will someday get to use it to inflict either sadness, spooky shit, or both on someone.
