It was refreshing to say the least to be with him and not have to worry about any deadlines or conflicting schedules. Eva wanted to hold onto this feeling for as long as possible. It took her a second to truly come to grips with how much money his family had. Suddenly, his cousin's lavish wedding and the way his parents strolled in to visit regularly made sense. Then there were other aspects of his life that he showed her that were not so charmed. She knew about his past with his ex, but this was the first time she got to see that history in person. It took a lot of vulnerability for him to confide in her by showing their old residence, but she respected him all the more for it.
"Oh I'm sure it is. I guess I can cross this off my bucket list of things to do in London after today." As they were waiting for their turn to get loaded into their pod, Eva heard a woman squeal excitedly as she exited her pod. "I still can't believe you proposed! Oh my god!" As she began ranting and raving about who to call first and how to break the news, Eva laughed from her spot in line. "I'll never understand the hype of proposing at a tourist attraction, but to each their own!"
