I tend to favour wearing certain items of clothing. My parents got me a new cap recently, and I've been wearing it a whole bunch, especially when I'm in weird moods/experiencing strong emotions. It just makes me feel better, just the feeling of it. Is this in any way related to my autism, or is it probably just me thinking I look cuter in hats?

That’s for sure an autism thing. It’s like samefooding but it’s sameclothing. Autistic people also tend to get strongly attached to objects and other items like clothing, stuffed animals, toys etc.
