are you friends with an ex? if so, is it worth it?

you must be new to my blog c:

samhaines is my ex and my best friend. its worth it a majority of the time, i'd say. we have our ups, downs, and in-betweens, but i mean... idk. it'd be weird to not be friends with him? i don't really know how to explain my thoughts on this topic nor am i good at talking about my ~feelings~ so. i'm glad that we're friends, i like being friends with him, i like it when we're not fighting. but when we are fighting, there have been times where i ask myself if it's worth it. but we're still friends, and i really like being friends with him.
