Apparently, when the Inquisitor was away and the advisors were busy, Teagan Hawke looked like, and possibly was, the most authoratative person in Skyhold. That had to be the explanation for why a guard ran up to him and told him that there was a stranger knocking at the gates of Skyhold, and that they didn’t know what to do. That initially had made him pause.
The guard nodded. “Yes, sir. Quite literally knocking at the gate like he’s visiting his grandmother for tea. He’s...very big, serah. Not as tall as you, of course, but close.”
Teagan sighed and nodded, slinging his bow onto his back in case something was about to go wrong. “Alright. Show me to our visitor.” He wasn’t the most intimidating of people, but he was still the Champion and he would make sure that no one was going to hurt the people inside Skyhold. Following the guard down to the front gate, he looked at the figure he could see surrounded by guards. Tall, yes, but young looking, with a sturdy build and a shortsword on his back. Something about that made him pause. Avaar? That man looked Avaar. Interesting. He’d met the Avaar woman wandering Skyhold, and she’d mentioned having a younger brother. There was a distinct resemblance here.
Finally, he got up close, gestured for the guards to back up, and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “Now, what are you doing here? If you are who I think you are, you’re supposed to be back at your hold.”
