“Yeah.” she replied, her tone void of any emotion whatsoever. “You know Sam, I’m cold and sometimes I am like a demon sent from Hell and I totally get that, and I’ve totally worked on that, but at least I have the decency to be honest with you.” It was a total lie, Kitty was being anything but honest with Sam, but it wasn’t like he had ever asked her if she was cheating on him or if she was in love with Finn or something like that. She had never blatantly lied to him, it wasn’t her fault she was damn good at hiding things. She was blessed with her talents for a reason, if this was so wrong Jesus wouldn’t have allowed it to progress for so long. That’s what Kitty told herself, anyhow. “You know it was more than just a kiss, I know it was more than just a kiss, she knows it was more than just a kiss.” she paused, her head cocking to the side. “or he knows, y’know, if my suspicions have been right for all these years and you really can fit two tennis balls in your giant mouth.” It was surreal that none of this hurt Kitty. Her and Sam had been over long before this conversation and this was mere proof of it. Had this conversation been with Finn the reaction would have been so opposite, she didn’t know what she’d do to him exactly but she knew she’d care, and she knew she’d hurt. With Sam? With the man she was married to? She cared more about her great aunt’s neighbor’s friend’s brother’s boss’ goldfish than who’s face - and other body parts - Sam was sucking on. “Are we done here? I’m on break and you’re totally killing my vibe, m’kay? Not cool. We can talk about this when I’m home and have had time to pray really, really hard about this, from my lips to Jesus’.”
