        Despite what others may think, Breezango was not Tyler’s first tag team. He had been through plenty but not many knew about the brief time he was tag team champions with Roman. And though burning bridges seemed to be something he was plenty used to, he hadn’t entirely burned the one he had with Roman. He hadn’t tried to keep it up either but he hadn’t actively tried to hurt their relationship. Though, it didn’t hurt that Roman was very good looking so at least his eyes weren’t being assaulted. “Do us and favor and win on Sunday. Maybe it’ll give me a reason to actually watch RAW if you beat Lesnar.”

Sami stopped short as roman spoke, completely unaware that he’d spoken anything other than English. His head tilted to the side like a confused puppy as he tried to think of what language he could’ve switched into. “Sorry. I switch to Arabic when I get excited,” he said hand reaching up to scratch at his beard. “I was just saying how awesome it’s going to be if you end up against Undertaker at ‘Mania, and uh ---that I think you could win,” he said sheepishly.

Not Seth. Never Seth. Not after the mess he’d left behind. Not after the destruction that was Them. Whatever they’d been. It didn’t matter anymore and she was getting sick and tired about being bitter about it.

“You honestly think you can trust him at your back? Well... Suppose things will be a little safer now he’s benched.... Deep breath now.”

The needle pressed the the inner crook of Roman’s elbow as she drew his blood for testing. The company was on his back a little more than the others on the roster after his transgression a while back. Something she’d had the unhappy task of reporting.

If it were loneliness or desperation, he wouldn’t say it out loud. Had trouble enough admitting it to himself. Shoving those thoughts of self-hatred down down down. Leaving them to live with that question voiced to millions of people maybe I deserve this?

Seth was determined to stick with the plan. Bring the Big Dog on side and keep him close. They could never be the Shield again, but if he could tap into that big foolish heart, he’d take anything he could get.

“Shhh... It’s ok... Just let me...”

He allowed dark brown eyes to go wide, a pleading expression he used to use on Roman when his former brother was being unreasonable. When something was for Roman’s own good or for the good of the team. For those times he needed Roman to just let him do what needed to be done.

The locker room is a mess. Tables are overturned, clothes scattered around the room and sitting in the middle of it is TJ. His knees are pulled into his chest, his chin resting atop them as he stared blankly into the middle distance. He’s LIVID. The title belt should be his by now but instead it’s still sitting around Neville’s waist, still living with the so called King of the Cruiserweights. His hand lifts to run through his hair, a sharp breath leaving him as he glanced up to look toward the door.

               “FUCK.”
