3. Describe their relationship dynamic.
- I would definitely think their dynamic is definitely a very friendly one where they can both be open to each other without worry. Sally is very outgoing and full of energy -- a literal beam of sunshine which almost always keeps Lincoln on his toes. They can do just about anything together without any arguing going on.
7. What do they have in common?
- They’re disposition and outlook on life if that makes any sense. They both have that same attitude about certain people getting what’s coming to them. They have that same sense of dueling out your own brand of justice if no one else will. That’s why Sally is so supportive of him during his mission to take down the Marcanos.
15. Describe your favorite moment of that ship!
- Probably the moment where Sally stands her ground and tells Lincoln she’s not going anywhere whether he likes it or not. I think that’s a pivotal moment in their relationship simply bc her loyalty to him honestly goes unquestioned after that. He’s so used to people he knew betraying him that he supposed one of those days she would do the same which is why he wanted to break things off. And this girl was like “i think not” and showed up at Donovan’s motel room at 3 am just to solidify things between them. Sally could’ve waited until later on that day but she was so adamant on proving to him that she’s not going anywhere.
If that’s not love, I don’t know what it is.
16. What do other characters think about this relationship?
- Tatiana adores Lincoln and welcomes him to her home once he and Sally become official. She was always a bit worried that Sally was getting mixed up in all of that but once she met him and got to know him Tatiana understood that her daughter was in good hands.
Vito was overprotective in the beginning because he made a promise to her mother about looking out for her when Henry died, but much like Tatiana he comes to trust Lincoln.
Donovan and Sally butt heads so many damn times that Lincoln is often caught in the middle of it. 😒 Donovan likes the kid but he still thinks she’s too much of a goody two shoes for Lincoln. He honestly wonders at times how they manage their relationship but in the end he just minds his own business. Somewhat.
19. Talk about a headcanon you’ve never talked about before.
- When Sally finds out Lincoln was back in town and how he was shot in the head...oh boy she ran to his side. I think I had it that she heard the news of the fire on the radio and knew that one girl that was simping for Lincoln and she found Father James who ended up telling her the truth.
Anyway, she was there for the couple of days that he was unconscious. Donovan didn’t know who she was at first and was about to kick her out but James vouched for her. I honestly think that was a moment in her life where she sort of felt how her mother was feeling when her dad passed away. Luckily, Lincoln lived though.
21. What’s a really significant moment in their relationship?
- Her wanting to be involved in the take over really just screamed at Lincoln that she would be his ride or die. I mean, for her to know the stakes and the danger it’ll bring but still wanting to help him right the injustice he faced? She’s got too much of her dad in her. So I believe her willingness to do that for him really does signify that she’s there to stay.
