It looks like the farthest anyone's got in the game is thebackgroundhidesmuch.txt . Based on the text of the document itself, it looks like the premise is that
David summoned an angel.
The angel found David wanting. Some entity called 'The Crow' found him first, and irrevocably changed him.
David was able to ensnare the angel via thought, and likely cut off his hands in a similar method.
David is locked in a permanent dream state, either due to his prior actions or due to his maiming of an angel.
The stuff at the end is pretty clearly a polynomial equation, but the coefficients are all so large that it's basically impossible to easily visualize on a graphing calculator. I don't think that the graph itself would matter, but the only meaning I can parse out from the numbers/coefficients is that when x=0, y=666.
Curiously, the numeric values of the coefficients seem to behave in a vaguely coherent manner.
namely, that the absolute value of the coefficient tends to increase as we go further down. Towards the end, it seems to violate that rule a bit, but there's a visible pattern.
I tried adding together all the coefficients (in Python, at any rate, which might have a different answer since this angel appears to prefer Javascript), which gave me the answer 25165824. No idea if that means anything or not.

indie media can be a lot of things. Follow your artistic vision no matter where it takes you imo. I'm, like, really really radical about that. Use AI or culturally appropriate or do whatever other demonized/morally gray thing in pursuit of matching whatever vision is in your head, idgaf, just follow ur vision.
SAMUSMAM's ask box was constantly full of fanart, genuine engagement, and hate mail, so do with that what you will.
Tiny samusmam change due to external link rot. Puzzles unchanged but you might see some unexpected colors on a certain endpoint.
always fun to see new players in the samusmam logs. someone on an aus vpn is at the late stages.

Not that the larger interested crowd follows my tumblr, but even though samusmam was solved, I don't think anyone's proper published the finale. Would love to see someone put the work in again ;).

Didn't get as much done on OMC as I wanted tn but still fleshed things out in a way I'm super happy with. Real tangible progress including optimization :D
