What to do with an Idea...Nurture it!
I have had the most interesting culmination of experiences recently, including a wonderful conversation with a woman I know and love (Hi Barbara!) who is a venture capitalist. What began as an offering, turned into a very encouraging conversation about what to do with an idea. Amelie music is playing while I type, and I can't help but think of how inspired that amazing movie is, what a beautiful idea! Since this imagination love fest began, the universe has been sprinkling my path with synchronistic moments that are utterly scrumptious!
So this has me thinking about how ideas get nurtured, by whom, and why. I've decided to use a special notebook to write them all down, and do something each day that supports at least one of them. Yes, I have a lot, so if you want one, come n get it!
It's like gardening, and what better time, as we nestle up for Fall and football, to nurture our ideas with a great notebook or agenda and a favorite pen or pencil.
Because I don't stop there, I start imagining what it feels like and looks like to achieve goals associated with the thriving ideas I'm currently incubating. This has me thinking about goals I've achieved and asking what does success looks like for me? One aspect: wearing a sweater like this with a warm coffee from Pappalecco to a meeting where an idea is manifesting into reality with all kinds of support from others, because its value is shared. No business suit, just an extremely comfortable and effortlessly chic ensemble, fit for a woman filled with great ideas, comfortable in her own skin, who has made space at the table for like hearted investors.Curiosity is where it's at this week. I'm curious what you are thinking and dreaming about! For me it's ice cream. I want to know what success looks like to you, and what you're wearing along the way!
xoxo, Cecelia
Ps. Fall florals from Rifle paper are a lovely and inspiring start to any creative journey and Calius sunnies because your future is so bright!
Pps. This book was just pointed out to me, and what a treat for you and your loved ones because as Barbara reminded me, everyone's new ideas are now very important!
