So, I tried the “knocking Alfira out so Quill dies in her place” trick, but I hit one little snag.

I took literally one long rest too many. She shows up to camp bruised and pissed, but in the same way shopkeeps are when they don’t like you. I buy the only loot she has left (a single potato) and am locked out of any other dialogue with her.
