Chapter 20: A Wish
"You are a strange princess, Sango," he said suddenly, the words sounding strained as they left his mouth.
"How so?"
"You inspire hope in all places and people." Miroku offered her a small smile. "And I'm afraid I have fallen victim to it."
Chapter Nineteen: A Heart Distracted
"Are you even listening to me!?" Inuyasha grabbed the fabric at Miroku's neck, and his fists brought their foreheads together so closely that Miroku could feel his friend's sweat in his hair. "You cannot do this to Sango. You're useful enough but you're not going to marry her, and she can't fall in love with you—"
"I know," Miroku interjected, calm and collected… but still sad.
i have one more week of classes and a few finals and projects to conquer... but i just finished writing the next chapter of sango’s choice and that’s the greatest accomplishment of april right there.
Sango took a deep breath, and the King could see that she was gathering herself before delivering the final blow; they were all waiting for the swift fall of the blade she carried in her palm, the sharp sword of undesired knowledge.
This was what it meant to rule: to make the greatest sacrifices, to share the worst of information, to bear the crushing troubles of a kingdom; to save their people at the highest cost. The King's chest wilted when he realized that Sango had already learned this, much younger than he had ever hoped.

13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn’t listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?
I’m laughing because YOU KNOW THIS ANSWER! I listen to instrumental music, and I always try to make sure it fits what I’m writing? For example, I love Final Frontier by Thomas Bergersen for epic scenes. Sometimes I’ll listen to the same song over and over, other times I’ll just shuffle through the instrumental playlist I have — it kind of depends on my mood, too, but it always has to be instrumental, and it always has to fit the scene I’m writing. It makes me feel like I’m writing a movie, and writing comes more naturally to me that way!

Oh gosh… I know it’s been a long time since I’ve updated, I’m sorry about that! I usually aim to update every week or two, but with Spring Break coming and going, schoolwork, etc… I’ve lost a little bit of my drive to do it, purely because I’ve put it off for so long. It’s that endless cycle, you know?
I’ll do my best to update ASAP! At least by the end of March. I have most of the chapter written, and editing may take a little while, but I’m still chipping away at it! I have not abandoned it, not at all.
