He can’t help the frown that forms on his forehead when he listens to the other male’s words. Raphaël is confused, he doesn’t know what he has done to make Eros think that way, but he knows he has to do something to take those thoughts away from his mind.

“Eros, why?” The French man asks, his voice is soft and gentle and he takes a few steps closer to the shorter man, his hands soon make their way to rest on his shoulders. “Why do you feel that way? I’m not going to leave… After all your help in the orphanage, after you trusted me enough to go there and help those children, I could never leave.”

But Raphaël’s expression softens a little bit eventually, and he even allows a small and soft smile to spread on his features when he speaks again. “And Pierre loves you! He gets all happy and excited just at the mention of your name. You don’t have to worry, okay? I’m not leaving.” And he embraces the other male in a gentle and yet tight hug, as an assurance of the veracity of his words. “We’re friends, Eros. You’re actually the closest friend I have.”

               a trip home to visit his grandfather means daebak's had to dye his hair black ( turns out the old man doesn't approve of young men having pastel dyed hair ). now that he's back in seoul, he's staring at a display of box dye, trying to decide which colour to brave next. if he can get the black out first, anyway. ❝ maybe pink... or green, i haven't done green before... ❞

she thinks about it, resting options on her shoulders as they were dragged down by the weight of stress, the weight of expectations, the weight of just existing. a sigh slips out, trying to brush it off when it wasn’t all that easy.

she could move on, sure. then justice wouldn’t be served, then it could be buried under a rug like it had been done this last year. she feels his nudge of encouragement, causing her to rub her eyes and sulk even more. why couldn’t she be positive like he was?

maybe a key thing to do was not to dwell on the past. but, how could she not? her grandmother’s death wasn’t justified. it’s never goin’ t’happen. people have money, they’ll bury the truth like they buried her. thinking about it gave her the chills, rubbing her arm to try to calm herself down. “m’not runnin’ away.. us’ simply.. bein’ turned down.”

the reason was simple.

money.

the people who did the surgery had money-- enough money that her stingy dad took the money as compensation to cover up the real reason of his own mother’s death. it was sickening to even stomach-

“i won’t give up. thanks.. but shit. it’s gonna be hard.”
