Sword and a Fire Tome. Whoever taught him to balance swordfighting and arcane magic, deserves a well-earned respect to his teacher. Laegjarn was merely focused on practicing her sword than learning other things anew. Well, the former general of Muspell hoped she never disturbed him on his free time.
Who was this kid’s teacher? She asked.
“For someone still young, you’re pretty talented with swords and magic. Who taught you that?”

The main thought in Threo’s mind was how whatever or whoever had ruined this stranger city didn’t stick around. If it was a monster, it was already gone. If it was some kind of disaster, there was no trace of it. And to add onto that, no one else seemed to know what happened either. For some reason, it made her a little uneasy, like it meant something even worse was going to happen. She’s not worried for herself, but some of these people look really...
They look familiar, actually. Or, at least, that cape does.
“Robin? Oh, Robin! It’s you!”
It’s something of a relief to see a familiar face in this city, even if the circumstances are wanting. “Wow, you actually managed to get out of that weird city, huh? That’s really impressive, especially since you said there was no way-”
Wait, wasn’t she there too? How did she manage to get out? Now her brain was trying to work in two different directions at once, which just made her greeting peter out.
“Maybe we’re just better at this stuff than we thought,” she said, scratching her head.

Remilia was certain that she has been in this city before. A good portion of her memories remained, yet some seemed to be foggy. Where if there was any mention of sight of them the fog would clear in an instant. It was frustrating to deal with, so much so that she felt the need to solve the mysteries herself.
As she roamed the streets, she spotted a boy who appeared disoriented. As if he was lost. Despite this, he could still have a use for her. Two were still better than one, especially in the case of memories. It also lowered the odds of anyone bothering her and by extension, him.
“You, come along with me.”
〖I〗t had became a daily routine for him to help clean up in the dojo where he worked at. The Elezen didn’t mind too much, especially since his employer was so nice enough to hire him in the first place. Plus it was a splendid area for teaching and practicing, he’d hate to see it look like a mess simply because no one wanted to clean up.
Without thinking much clearly, he’d pick up a bundle of the wooden swords for practice, tuck them between his body and arm, move to turn, to only hear a good loud whack. The sudden felt of impact and the noise startled him so much he almost dropped them all. with his other hand grasping as much as he could tightly to be careful not to drop them, he’d turn around to only see someone clutching their head. Oh dear.
❝ I-I’m most terribly sorry! ❞ He would be quick to place the false swords onto the ground before hovering over the smaller boy to check to see if there would be any blood. ❝ I did not realize you were behind me, again I am most sorry boy. ❞ It was great to be tall, but it was also a downfall when you had then tucked under your arm that could easily whack people behind you. He would have to take extra care it would seem. ❝ Do you need some ice for your head? ❞

How many times was he going to have to keep running from this small creatures? How many of them were littered around the city?! Complaining in his head did him no good--for the moment, running was still the best he could manage. It was a miracle he hadn’t been hit by their arrows yet.
That said, his luck seemed to have run out. He’d had a lead on them, and turned straight into an alleyway in the hopes of being able to lose them, but he’d just run headfirst into a dead end.
He had maybe a few seconds before the cupids tailing him finally caught up--a few seconds to what? Perhaps Frederick’s trademark phrase would apply.
“Ghh. Think, Robin, think...”

“Don’t you ever get cold in that?” Kiriya suddenly asked the kid next to him. Well, the coroner was freezing to the point where he could be mistaken for a dead body, but the kid? Sure, he must’ve have layers but still; this was colder than the mourge.
Yes, Kiriya should’ve gotten a jacket and some actual pants but he didn’t have the money at the moment to go to Dressed to Kill, so he was stuck in his Hawaiian shirt and leather jacket get up. Leave him alone!!

Probably the worst thing about this city (so far) is that it’s hard to find your way around. Threo’s usual tactics aren’t working because all these tall buildings block the wind and the gross smells are blocking out anything that would be more familiar. Who builds a big city like this and doesn’t even try to keep it clean?
There’s another person nearby with a cape (what good taste), and this fact alone earns their sleeve a surprisingly strong tug.
“Hey, hey. Sorry, but which way is the nearest port? I need to get off this island because I have more important things to do. I didn’t really even understand the stuff they were saying to me before, but since I didn’t get it, it can’t be that important.”
