"M-Master... I uh... I made you something," Seras said quietly, her head barely poking around the door to Alucard's chamber. Not even her vampire eyes could see through the suffocating darkness. It was unnatural to be sure, but she hoped he would lift it for her.
Seras moved into the room, holding her creation in front of her as though it was a precious glass heirloom. A sweater; made by her own hand with countless hours and dozens of knitting books going into each woolen loop. The chest area was deep red, wool dyed from her own blood, as a way of showing him how much she loved him. The arms and the cuff of the neck however, were pale, almost sickly white, creating their own weird glow in the darkness.
"D-Do you like it?"
Stare into The Hound's eyes, boy.
The first thing he noticed was the gathering awareness that he existed, the tingling sensation of thoughts running through his head as awareness slowly and surely crawled its way into the recesses of his mind.
Self awareness. Consciousness. Existence.
Purple hues blink open hesitantly, thoughts meshing as he felt his physical body move and twitch, but he couldn't see. Black cloaked his hazy vision and it felt like he was floating, no solid ground to set foot on, nothing to touch or feel around him...Â
Then red. Bright red that pierced his vision and flattened his ears against his skull, causing fear to wrack his childish frame.
He wasn't used to fear, not like this, the only times he'd actually been scared were the looks of disapproval Hans had given him. But this was different, this wasn't the fear of disapproval, this was the fear that accompanied you in the face of the devil itself.
And as the inky black pulled away in mass and the physical plain fell hard against his palms as he hit the floor, the were-cat could only swallow the thick lump in his throat and stare unblinking at the bright red eyes and he voided darkness of a form that was the No Life King himself.
"oh verdammt..."
