A few photographs from last nights dinner featuring The Venezuelan @SantaTeresaRum and a very talented chef from their country @CarlosGarciarEQ (who will be opening a restaurant in Miami soon). My favorite part of the night besides sampling their gorgeous rum and eating this addicting tequeño (Venezuelan cheese stick) was hearing some of the back story behind this multigenerational rum, which includes the current CEO Alberto Vollmer bringing together two violent rival gangs in an effort to create peace by first employing them at his factory, and then by pushing rugby as a group activity. #SantaTeresaRum1796 (at Cosme)
