I think Bella would lose her shit if she knew that Edythe turned Beau at the ballet studio. She would kick and scream and bite because Edythe gave that man everything Bella wanted, and Edward gave her a thousand things she didn't want or need except for the one thing she actually desired
vampires and werewolves are natural enemies or something idk
Why did Beau turn into a vampire when Bella didn't?
They both went to the bathroom before they left. Bella had a line, Beau didn't.
Female cabbies drive faster than male cabbies, so Beau got there faster.
Edythe is a more responsible driver than Edward.
The car that Edward stole (lava, purple) was faster than the #WomanCar (pink?)
Carine had better ethics than Carlisle and didn't drug a stranger on the road
The man that Carine drugged on the side of the road fought back (men fight)
Carine had WORSE ethics than Carlisle, drugged MULTIPLE people, took 10 minutes+
Archie is too gay to pay attention to traffic.
Beau's heart is More Powerful (bigger?) so it spread the venom faster
Archie just wanted Beau to be a vampire and lied to Edythe without her noticing
Woman Venom™ works faster because #Feminism
Renesmee's egg managed to ward off the vampire venom for a bit
Edythe @ Beau
People talk about how the Twilight timeline is kind of insane, and while I agree with that, I would like to point out that the Life and Death timeline is much worse. Beau and Edythe get engaged after like a week of being official, and Beau was turning for 3 days of that. They had only known each other for 2 months when they got engaged, and most of that was Edythe ignoring Beau. It’s absolutely bonkers.
In today’s edition of Stephenie Meyer cringe, I’m revisiting the very frightening way she describes Edythe’s body in Life and Death: ultra thin, “twig-like” collarbones, exposed ribs and shoulder blades that look like “unfurled angel’s wings.” Nothing against very skinny people, of course, but SM is holding up 80s heroin-chic, skin-and-bone, anorexic runway models as her ideal of beauty. I always find reading that (before Beau and Edythe hike to the meadow) so uncomfortable. It’s more about the presentation; SM doesn’t just say Edythe is petite, beautiful, and very thin—it’s the fetishization.
i came up with an idea to rewrite twilight to be sapphic but in a way that some of the characters are genderswapped (for now it will only be edward and carlisle)(i will be using versions of them from this life and death book). additionally, bella will be more androgynous presenting and phil is a homophobe (that's why bella moved to forks in this au). since i'm enjoying unemployment i will write this fanfiction.
