WHAT ABOUT SANTINY!!

MY thoughts, opinions and rants about 2x14:

OK, HONESTLY, THIS EPISODE WAS WAYYYY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED IT TO BE!! :) It was fun and that was how I took it. Everything was over the top (or actually pretty accurate depending on who I hang out with, haha) AND HYSTERICAL.

1) FINCHEL & QUICK.

- The FINCHEL moments in this episode really made me smile. THE HUG! He hugged her just as tight as she did and he only let go when she did. THE SMILE. HE COMING TO HELP HER OUT. BEING HONEST WITH HER. THE Sober Finn & Drunk Rachel bits. I know people are saying he was a hypocrite for calling her needy despite holding her but I don't see it that way. I mean he was giving her the 411 of drunk teenagers. Have you ever thought (I mean just for argument's sake) that his 'holding her' could have been an involuntary action? As in his feelings took over having Rachel so close? HE'S IN LOVE WITH HER REMEMBER? (Even if he forgets sometimes). He probably saw the drawbacks and had to be harsh with her. I mean she is his ex and he probably didn't want her to a) make a bigger fool of herself or b) do something she'd regret. Of course that led to her spin the bottle thing and you saw his face. Priceless.

- QUICK interacted! Small moments count ok! AND THEY ACTUALLY THREW IN A REFERENCE TO QUINN BEING PREGNANT. Sure, it was more for humour than anything else but still better than nothing.

2) RACHEL BERRY

- Let's see. 'MY HEADBAND'? Drink tickets. 'HEY GIRLFRIEND'. 'IT TASTES LIKE PINK'. 'YOU'RE FACE TASTES AWESOME'. 'EURASIAN LOOKING CHILDREN'. 'I JUST HAD A RELATIONSHIP WITH A GUY WHO TURNED OUT TO BE GAY, THIS IS SONG WRITING GOLD'.

And more.

Lea played my favourite girl so well. I just enjoyed how she went crazy this episode but still went back to my fav girl at the end. It was a fun ride! I got my drunk Rachel wish. :)

3) FURT.

- OK. So it's not exactly what I was expecting but I got brotherly scenes nonetheless. So I'm grateful. I would like to know what Finn's browser history is though. HAHA. I wish they would mention it in later eps and instead of it being something predictable like porn, it could be all things (predictable to some) Rachel.

4) SOBER FINN.

- I just respect Finn so much for choosing to stay sober through everything. Yes he was the designated driver but what about the other times in school? He was the only sober one and I have so much respect for that. I know what it's like to choose to be the sober one at parties so I could totally relate and have fun watching him provide Rachel with the 411. Also, I do think it was a case of Art imitating Life, in regards to Finn being the one that remained sober. I doubt it was done on purpose but I bet the writers thought about Cory and his non-drinking and sub-conciously put it in his character. Of course, I could be over-thinking here. :)

5) Heather FREAKING Morris (also known as the girl who beat KE$HA at her own game)

- SHE WAS EPIC AND GORGEOUS AND OFF THE CHARTS IN THIS EPISODE. Plus they shot it on her birthday. :)!!! Brittany wise, she was golden. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. TIK TOK was wonderful. I can't stand the actual song but I really liked their performance. The dancing was great and it was all just fun to watch till of course the puking happened. Ew. hahaha.

6) NO POD FINN/FUINN

- Finn was on fire yesterday and in the best way possible. He was himself true and true. Right down to his sometimes ill-timed honesty. It was so good to see him for the whole ep. ALSO HIS NATIONALS COMMENT and the look he shared with Rachel after. YAY!

The absence of Fuinn made me happy too. I mean they were both single in this episode and no interaction at all. It showed me that Quinn really didn't want to lose Sam. That she's hurt that she messed up (see longing looks at him). Also Finn spent all his time with Rachel and his brother so yea. I'm thrilled.

7) MERCEDES/AMBER WAS SO CUTE.

-THE WAY SHE WAS LAUGHING AND HER DRUNK SELF CRACKED ME UP. Also Tina not closing her locker because it would sound like a gun-shot? I seriously LOLed.

8) CORY WORE A BEANIE AGAIN & HIS DANCING HAS SERIOUSLY IMPROVED!

- Please cheer for our man people! *SWOONING*

9) Santana freaking Lopez.

- Naya is awesome. Her 'crying Santana' cracks me up all the time. I swear it never gets old.

- Plus she wasn't mean this ep. Not that much anyway.

10) The SCHUESTER I liked making a reappearance.

- I thought the pledge thing was really cool. I really liked how it was done because ultimately you can't stop kids from doing what they want to do but he was telling them that no matter where they were and what trouble they might be in, he'd be there and it was just perfect and wonderful and so like the Mr Schue that told Rachel she'd meet a boy who would love her for her.

11) ALL THE KIDS WERE TOGETHER.

- I liked that all the Gleeks were together in Rachel's Basement. I mean yes, it had it's consequences but we don't see them all hang out together except for when they have to so it was nice that all of them were there. Especially because I feared Finn/Quinn wouldn't be present. I liked that they were all together and I bet the cast had a blast. :)

13) Kurt & Burt

- I liked everything about their scenes. From Burt's discomfort at finding Blaine to the mini-confrontation. Kurt had valid points and I'd like to see it tackled you know? Especially if and when he starts dating because he's gonna have questions. I like Burt so I'd like to see him be able to help his son out like he's done before.

14) Rachel's house

- OSCAR BASEMENT. STAGE. PORTRAIT. BEDAZZLED MICROPHONES. That is all.

15) I'm sorry but I don't ship Blaine/Rachel

- Do it if you like but I don't. :) I just don't see it. I did however like their duet. It was fun and cheesy and showed potential, friendship wise, for me.

16) How Finn wasn't going to leave the party even when people wanted to initially and gave Rachel the silent support she needed to let Puck take the reigns. ALSO, Puck helping Rachel save her party.

- I like the Puckleberry friendship. I like how Finn wasn't preparing to leave like the rest. He could have and he didn't. Puck too. I appreciated that.  Plus when she looked at Finn (when Puck suggested he take over), I just thought it was one of the many decisions they always end up making together. :).

I probably have more to say but yea. These are the things that stand out to me about the episode or at least from what I can remember.

Like I said these are my thoughts and opinions so disagree if you must. Just no hate. Hate should be reserved for your text posts and your own blogs. :)
