I think Gav has a point. Pokemon couldn't have been poket monsters until after the invention of the pokeball, so what were they? Don't tell me anyone looked at snorlax and went "Ah, yes, a pocket monster."

You’re right, I was a bit quick to judge. And I re-read it and realized he had a valid point, and had probably been wondering about that. I do just assume everything Gavin says is stupid. I mean, I think game grumps had a conversation about pokemon, and essentially, they’re just the normal animals of that world? So I guess they’d call them by their names that they conveniently say? And then Bill, or Oak or whoever made pokeballs was like “OH! They’re Pocket Monsters now” I don’t think anyone was supposed to think of this. xD

Orange: 6 facts about my home town

My hometown is a large town in the east of england.

It’s kind of a boring shit hole but i don’t mind it.

We had a serial killer that got on the national newspaper front page in 2006. It was terrible and that fact is like our biggest identifier.

My favourite place in my hometown is a big park right by town centre. I spend a lot of time there as a young teenager and going there makes me happy and nostalgic. It also has two, TWO, duck ponds. It’s beautiful in the autumn there.

There’s a huge half built apartment complex that has been stuck like that for over 5 years because the company went bankrupt and no one will buy it to finish it. It’s an eye sore on an otherwise lovely waterfront.

Thomas Wosley was born here and we have a theatre named after him.
