This is "PARALUMAN: A Study on the Design and Development of a Filipino-Illustrated Online Comics Anthology Based on Ancient Filipino Goddesses forYoung Adults Aged 18-24 in Metro Manila", my output for my undergraduate thesis for B Fine Arts major in Visual Communication!

Illustration for the cover of the second part of my comic anthology! This is my interpretation of Sappia, goddess of mercy from Boholano mythology. It is said that during an intense drought, the starving people prayed for mercy, and the goddess descended from her home to water the dried weeds left on the barren fields with her breastmilk and her blood. These ones watered with breastmilk became white rice, while those that were watered with her blood became red rice.
