“I think I’m in love.”
if the whole point was to receive all of her father’s attention, then her words truly did work as he let go of the scroll he was currently reading… only to lift the eye that wasn’t hidden behind his raven hair. at first, confusion could be read in his dark orbs, then surprise… before turning to a furious glimpse in no times. his daughter couldn’t be in love… no, he wouldn’t let that happen.
in his mind, he was already planning ways to murder her love interest in a way that would leave no traces. internally, he was hoping that he didn’t know the kid or else it would make the whole situation more difficult. he didn’t want to explain why they found their child, unrecognizable in a pit.
“ — you’re too young for that. ”
not only that but she was his daughter, his babygirl… he sure as hell wouldn’t let anyone take her away from him.
